Near the beautiful village Ootmarsum, lies one of Twentes most beautiful places, the Cosmos observatory. At the 
Cosmos observatory there are different exhibition spaces such as, a grand cinema room, a beautiful planetarium and the biggest telescope of the Netherlands.
Everything together to playfully get to know everything there is about the universe. But that’s not all because the observatory lies next to a beautiful landscaped garden to enjoy the stars. After having looked at the stars, there is a creek called De Dinkel running past the observatory. Concluding your visit to the observatory is there for an unforgettable experience for everyone.
Moreover, annually 15.000 people visit the observatory. Would you like to take a look? This is possible during visiting hours. Groups and schools are also welcome, on appointment, next to regular visiting hours.
